WAFFLE HENLEY LONGSLEEVE

The piece for the turn of the season. A thick waffle knit dyed by wax resist and washed back, so the grid texture and the faded, uneven tone arrive together — the pattern catches the light differently depending on how the colour fell on that particular piece.

The neckline is a henley: a short button placket running down from the collarbone on a plain round neck, which sits well open or done all the way up. The body is cut loose and slightly boxy, long-sleeved, and the fabric is heavy enough to wear on its own into the cold.
